When a tool feels private, it becomes easier to write the uncertain version of a thought. You can explore an idea without turning it into a statement for an audience.
Narratives does not require an account, and your conversation history is not uploaded to a developer-operated AI server. Optional online tools are used only for the request that needs them.
Local does not mean isolated
A journal is more useful when it remembers context. Narratives can connect conversations, saved memory, schedules, trackers, and reflections while keeping those relationships on your device.
You remain in control: saved memory can be reviewed or cleared, and backups can be exported when you choose.
